Preparing Kids to be College and Career Ready in the 21st Century

gamebasedcollegeandcareerI've previously written about the need to incorporate digital literacy and technology familiarity into everyday curriculum, but I wanted to share an article recently posted on Edutopia that expands the idea to all "soft skills".

The article's author, Ben Johnson, is a High School Principal and Technology Consultant. Johnson uses anecdotes from the P-20 Conference on June 14th of this year to explain why today's businesses now seek students who are prepared with soft skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, digital media familiarity, and even curiosity and imagination!
